Tim Borgerson

Tim Borgerson is from Ashland, Oregon. He graduated from Stanford University in 2014 with a degree in English. Before law school, he worked as a tutor in Seattle. During his 1L summer, he interned then-Judge Amy Coney Barrett on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit and aided Professor Nicole Garnett and Fr. Pat Reidy with research for their article on religious property covenants. During his 2L summer, he worked for Latham and Watkins in Washington, DC. After graduating, Tim clerked for the Honorable Daniel Bress on the U.S. District Court for the Ninth Circuit and the Honorable Trevor McFadden on the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia. Besides Notre Dame, Tim's favorite place in the world is a Benedictine monastery in the San Juan Islands where he worked as a farm hand for six months before starting law school.
