In addition to its legal work, the Lindsay and Matt Moroun Religious Liberty Clinic organizes and supports a number of programs to engage the academy and the public in research, conversation, and reflection on the fundamental right to religious freedom. The Clinic has organized a broad variety of programs to advance public engagement with today’s leading challenges for religious freedom—including scholarly conferences, academic lectures, book launches, film screenings, and many more.
These programs reflect the Clinic’s core commitment to helping build a world not only with robust legal protections for religious liberty but also with a shared cultural commitment to this foundational right.
In addition to the events the Religious Liberty Clinic hosts, the Notre Dame Law School organizes an annual Religious Liberty Summit, bringing together prominent scholars, advocates, and religious leaders from around the world for strategic conversations about the future of religious liberty in the U.S. and abroad.
